How it is calculated
Complete units = floor(lines × minutes per shift × shifts × efficiency/100 / cycle minutes per unit).
Worked example
Two lines working one 480-minute shift at 80% efficiency with a four-minute cycle yield an estimated 192 complete units.
Before you calculate
Use the same time basis for shift duration and cycle time. Parallel lines are treated as equivalent resources. Efficiency is a single aggregate adjustment; decide what it represents before entering it, rather than combining overlapping loss allowances.
Interpreting the result
The model does not solve bottlenecks, changeovers, calendars or dependencies between operations. It is not an OEE assessment. Round-down counting represents complete units and does not account for partly finished work.
Use the units shown beside each field. Monetary fields labelled EUR stay in euros; changing language does not exchange currencies. Results are estimates under the stated assumptions.
