How it is calculated

Total m³ = length in cm × width in cm × height in cm × box count / 1,000,000.

Worked example

Ten boxes measuring 40 × 30 × 20 cm each have a combined external geometric volume of 0.24 m³.

Before you calculate

Use the outer dimensions of each packed box and group together only boxes with the same size. The product gives geometric volume rather than usable internal capacity. Calculate different box sizes separately before adding their totals.

Interpreting the result

Summed volume does not establish how boxes fit in a vehicle or storage area. It does not check payload, access, stacking or packing efficiency. Real cargo space requirements can exceed the geometric total because of layout and clearance.

Use the units shown beside each field. Monetary fields labelled EUR stay in euros; changing language does not exchange currencies. Results are estimates under the stated assumptions.
