How it is calculated
For each orientation, multiply floor(space length / box length), floor(space width / box width) and floor(space height / box height). Choose the largest of six uniform grids.
Worked example
A 100 × 60 × 50 cm space with boxes oriented 20 × 30 × 25 cm fits 5 × 2 × 2 = 20 boxes in that grid.
Before you calculate
Use clear internal storage dimensions and the outer box dimensions. The calculation assumes boxes can be aligned flush in rows and layers. Reduce the space measurements yourself if access gaps, handling clearance or obstructions must be reserved.
Interpreting the result
The best uniform orientation is not necessarily the global maximum for mixed packing. The result does not assess load limits, box strength, stacking stability or access. A numerical fit is not an instruction to stack to that height.
Use the units shown beside each field. Monetary fields labelled EUR stay in euros; changing language does not exchange currencies. Results are estimates under the stated assumptions.
